Week 6

Seahawks Bring out the brooms

Seahawks sweep the final series of the regular season in grand fashion.  The Seahawks take all three games on Saturday to finish up at (11-6) on the season.  The Eagles on the other hand have lost 6 in a row and finish the regular season at a disappointing (6-11).   Their were a few highlights on both sides of the ball.  For the Eagles Springs, Downing, Big Kat, and Trimble did what it took to win on the frozen tundra.  The cast of characters for the Eagles included Plummer, Hoying, Earl Campbell, and Dom.

Game Balls for Week 6:  The entire Seattle team!!!  Making big plays throughout all 3 games on Saturday.  My game ball for Philly goes to Earl Campbell he played well all day on offensive.  Dom looked great defensively for the Eagles making tons of interceptions all day long.

Quarterback Controversy:  Both Plummer and Hoying both received F's for the day.  So, hopefully this tandem will work out the bugs come next week for the tournament.

Record Breakers:  Game 3 in Week 6 produced the most turnovers in one single BFL game a grand total of 11. WOW...

Week 5

Seahawks Back On Top of the Division

Shawn Springs turning it up a notch in Week 5

Top Story:

Seahawks on a roll!!!  They go to (8-6) on the season.  Eagles are grounded going to (6-8).  Week 5 brought great weather conditions with the likes of snow and slick icy grass.  In Week 5 the Seahawks win game one in a wild one 22 to 16.  Game 2 Eagles loose 28-7 in a sleeper.  Game 3 was more of the same for the Eagles getting beat 25-14.  Highlights include: Shawn Springs aka: Chad Wheeler making a late bid for the Pro-Bowl.  Sure hands Nick Gaston and Kibey led the hawks squad with a great offensive output.  Both Ben Gaston and Jeremy Florea put out the Eagles threat with their defensive pressure.

Philly Fans NOT Happy with Hoying's Come Back Performance.  Questions are circling the team this week.  Bobby Hoying's quarterback rating came crashing down to reality.  Hoying coming off the bye week showed much rust with his 4 weeks of interception free football.   Mr. Hoying threw more interceptions this week than the entire year.  Cherbet was off so Fluite was back as the back up.  He also was ineffective.  They also tried Jeff Blake but it was to late for any of his magic late in the 3rd game.  With a lineup made up of Woodson, Moore, Flutie, Hoying, and Blake the Eagles were thinking playoffs.  But after Week 5 performance this team has more questions than answers.  Look for Hoyings comments later in the week.
